Como mestre cozinheiro no restaurante Siete Fuegos do The Vines Resort & Spa, Diego Irrera conhece algumas coisas sobre o fogo. Tendo aprendido a cozinhar com chama aberta desde que era criancinha, ele dominou a arte do assado argentino e hoje é a mão direita de Francis Mallmann em Mendoza. Sua carreira com Mallmann começou em seu restaurante 1884 em Godoy Cruz. Diego começou a trabalhar aos 19 anos como garçom e progrediu para a cozinha como cozinheiro trainee aos 21 anos. Desde então, ele passou a ser Chefe de Cozinha no 1884 e agora lidera a equipe do Siete Fuegos no The Vines Resort & Spa no Vale do Uco, especializado na culinária com fogo através de sete métodos.
